New York, New Life, New Self

The journey just started, and I gotta keep on going. The things that I need to change about myself are becoming more apparent, and it is time to really act on them.

Building a new relationship with myself is the key to affecting everything else around me and the how everything else affect me in return.

It will be hard but I am going to really try and make it work, make progress this time. Seeing Mike has made me realized that people can change, even if its just temporarily, what is ought to be will be, every person will flourish into their bodies, I just have to wait and see what mine will look like.

Live in the present, stop telling yourself stories when it does not have to affect your life in a negative way, do not let the negative get to you. Why? What does it matter? What are you trying to prove? Live in the present, looking forward and just embrace the time you have in the present.

Let it be.

10 west all the way down :2400

Saturday was a lovely beautiful sunny day, a break from the week long rain drops. My australian friend Tom was visiting Los Angeles so the Copenhagen crew took him around Santa Monica and Venice beach. We biked down along the sand in between the two locations, I had never done it before, and it was awesome. The weather was perfect, the beach was perfect, the sunset was perfect, it was a lovely lovely day.

It's hard to remember not to take things for granted, because often times the things you're unaware of taking for granted are the things you're exposed to everyday that is tangible and available to you anytime, it takes some effort to see it as an outsider to realize how good you have had it. (or in this case, having to be reminded by an outsider)

Pay attention to your surroundings and be surprised by the extraordinary in the ordinary.
